It's been a slow week or two on the bug but there will be more coming soon. Suffice to say, I have acquired a Porsche Boxster gearbox/cables and shifter for £120 so decided to put the Beetle box on ebay and it sold for £170 - that's half the price of the new Mazda RX8 front end I want to use and mean the Boxster box was free :D I am in the process of welding a sheet of metal in to the area below rear window where venting was so I am still trimming and tacking at the moment so will post more tomorrow...
